These photos were taken by Alan Hollick in Pam Flory's Corfe Mullen garden in about 1950. Alan had written this sketch originally to be performed on the stage but it never took place so he made a photo story instead. He took the photos on a Brownie Box camera as the new one he'd sent for had not arrived in time.
53 years after these photos were
taken, Alan Hollick has now sent me what he can remember of the scenario.
(The bits he
can't remember he's made up!).
So here is his updated
version of : -

And this is the after shoot party with Pam Flory dishing out orange squash to the "actors". I can only assume we all cycled to Pam's at Corfe Mullen for this project. Don't we clean up well?
