| WYG Our meetings at the Griffin. | |||
We held meetings up those stairs in a room in the Griffin called the Ancient Order of Buffalos. Richard remembers the huge surely cattle horns high on the end wall and the framed documents on other walls and the large desks. Photo of the stairs at the Griffin. UPDATE APRIL 2004 We thought this photo was of Susan Horton but Susan has since been in touch and says it is not her, but could possibly be a little girl who lived in a restaurant across the street called Juliana Griffiths. |

| Richard also writes that the vicar who came and demonstrated the ouija board and spoke to us about ghosts came from Kingston Lacey church and lived in a large house next to the cricket pitch. He thinks the same man came and spoke to us at Toc H once. | |||
| Dave remembers the Beetle Drives held in that upstairs room. | |||
| Richard also says that when he was at Poole College he hired films for WYG from possibly the National Film Theatre. Buster Keaton - Harold Lloyd - Chaplain etc. | |||
| UPDATE MARCH 2004 Marion (Hardy) ex Wimborne Young Communicants, writes :- "The Griffin Hotel was well known to me as well - my best friend was Susan Horton we still exchange cards at Christmas (she now lives in the United States) and yes the sisters were Lyn and Christine. Remember the ponies? The first one (the grey) was called Silver - and the second one Conker" | |||
