Alan Hollick, who took this photo, reminds me we contributed to the RAFA carnival in the early years with this walking entry which depicted Eric Lucas dressed as Lily Marlene pushing a pram and followed by other group members dressed as children. The song "The Wedding of Lily Marlene" was very popular at that time. He remembers that Eric couldn't get off work early enough from the Co-op to be there in time for the judging so we missed out on the chance of a prize.
