WYG some thoughts from Gerry Chapple
Wimborne Youth Group Gerry writes to say he is delighted we are gathering this material and writing the history of the club . He will be looking out old group paperwork and photos to send to me (Willy) to be added to the pile of archives which will eventually be probably given to Wimborne Museum. "I think that no-one would be allowed to run our group today with so little adult supervision. There would be a social worker in charge" he writes.

Church House, It just so happens that at the time of writing to me (July 2003) Gerry was taking part in the Wimborne Art Club exhibition in Church House. (Incidentally he was also exhibiting in a separate art exhibition at Colehill Church). Gerry says Church House looks more or less the same inside except the stage has gone completely and the room downstairs, where we used to meet and change for shows, has been enlarged and has now a door leading to the outside.

So Gerry's participation in Church House straddles over fifty years.

Shows. Gerry can still remember the words of "The Runaway Train" from those days. I wonder in which show we sang that song? Anyone else remember singing that ?
