| The RAFA Carnival. The report of the Secretary Miss Ann Dufall was read in her absence by the Chairman., and is stated that membership had been unstable during the year due to the unsettling clubroom changes but was now steadily on the increase. Regular members now numbering at.. (Hard to make up out but I think “35”) A precautionary statement was made that the average age was too high and to give the group a steady future it was imperative that younger members should be recruited and that programmes should be planned with that in mind. The Committee for 1956 was then elected it being: - Chairman (Temporary until September): Michael Foote Vice Chairman: Clive Dennett. Secretary: Miss Ann Dufall. Treasurer: Gerald Chapple. Co-Opt members: - Miss Gillian Yard: Confidential Reports Miss Pamela Smith: Activities Secretary Patrick Keeping: Press representative. Miss Angela Millard: Refreshment organiser. A lively “Any other Business” followed with a discussion on a clubroom of our own, a playing fee for table tennis, exchange holidays scheme, wider sports facilities, membership and financial objects employed by other Youth organisations in other parts of the Country.
