Another snap submitted by Dave. The number on the door is "30" and the sign says... "Clubroom Wimborne Youth Group"

Is that Richard at the window?

The following is the text of a newspaper cutting also sent to me by Dave

YOUTH GROUP'S NEW H.Q.
The Wimborne Youth Group have now obtained their new headquarters at 30 New Boro in the grounds of the Griffin Hotel. The group express their very grateful thanks to the proprietors of the Griffin for their help and the interest they have shown.

With the new clubroom at their disposal, the W.Y.G. members spend a great deal of their time organising activities. Already there have been scavenge hunts, treasure hunts, and cycle rides on fine evenings, and in bad weather there are various indoor games to play and a library of books at the clubroom.

Monday is still the main club evening of the week, however, with one committee member organizing the evening's entertainment.

During August, it is hoped to have a club outing. Members have been asked to vote for the place they would most like to visit. At the moment Windsor Castle is the favourite, with Arundel Castle a close second. Other places nominated were Buckfast Abbey, Exeter, Whipsnade Zoo and Hampton Court.
The next show to be put on by the Wimborne Youth Group will consist of a programme of plays in November. [CU 21]
