| This superb historic photo below, taken by Alan Hollick, using a self timer, shows the "office/Clubroom " section of the Stores. Third from left Willy, Standing - Alan Hollick with Gabby seated. We can't remember who the young lad is who Alan is resting his hand on. Nor can we remember the two individuals seated on the left in this photo. (Update -Richard reckons second from left is Norman Trinkle. Hopefully Norman will be able to keep us right with this) Can anyone help with the other names please? | From the Photographic and Film Society notes in April 1951 edition of "Roundabout"

| Things to note. The NitWits panto photo on the wall. (CLICK here to see another version but remember to close separate window) The wind-up gramophone, The extensive library. Mr's Webster's Dictionary directly behind Alan's head. The Royal Family photo. Not clear in this photo but the white box above the Nitwits photo is labelled "Films". Is that a black radio on the beam above Alan's head? - Willy | |

Another photo from the same series. The
"roller blinds" which separated the stores section from the
clubroom can be clearly seen behind the sofa.
The face of the little
boy standing at the wind up gramaphone is very familiar but I just can't
put a name to him. - Willy |
